I was in San Diego last week for the Cloudopen conference, running alongside LinuxCon. One of the evening events was at Bali Hai, which offered a great sunset view looking over the water to the city. There’s a dining room upstairs that looks out on the water. Nice spot!

When I’m playing with Legos with my son I like to build fun robots. Here’s a couple from today.
On Christmas Eve, Vida, Maddox and I headed to Fort Funston with our dog, Charlotte, and Vida’s dad, John. It had been raining earlier that morning and the sky was still very dramatic and the beach was wet.
I took the dog to Douglass Park today and took the camera along for some pictures.
