I don’t know if it’s the lack of quality advertisers out there… I think the advertisers are getting more of an idea of what the average Facebook-using male is like: jerky and lazy.

On that subject, Facebook’s ad are usually targeted — and this makes me ask, why did YOU receive this ad?

And the fact that you had to resist clicking it answers that question slightly…

I avoid that kind of ads.
If I have enough time I give them a thumbs down.

i’m a freak about it, but i ended up installing a greasemonkey script to get rid of the facebook ads. though i may be missing out on the weirdness you describe, somehow, it makes me feel less of a consumer whore…
